Originally from country stock, we are wine and history enthusiasts first and foremost. Alsatian entrepreneurs and farmers at heart, we want to further enhance our superb wine-making and cultural heritage. Our challenge: to make the very most of our terroirs to create exceptional wines!
After several years as an acoustic engineer in France and Switzerland, I wanted to follow in my father Jean-Pierre’s footsteps, and establish a family-owned vineyard. I trained with two highly respected winegrowers in Féchy while working towards a CFC viticulture diploma with Marcelin, awarded in 2016. I am currently training for my caviste qualification in Changins.
Born in 2019 and already smelling the wines with my parents. Unfortunately I don't enjoy tasting them yet, but in a few years, I’ll be able to try these wonderful bottles.
After a long and interesting career in telecommunications, I felt a need to go back to my roots, to the natural world in which I spent my youth. I wanted to build something that would last, that I could pass on to my children and grandchildren. As a lifelong wine lover, establishing a family business centered on wine and vines was the obvious choice.
Following an MA in communication and marketing, I wore several hats in a number of different roles, most recent of which was the opening of a café in Lausanne. I’ve always paid close attention to the family business and decided after the birth of my first daughter to give 100% of my energies to this beautiful endeavor. I am currently training in Changins for my sommelier qualification.
A return to organic wine production has been underway at Domaine du Manoir since 2021. This process will begin at Château de Malessert in 2022. Soil preservation and the promotion of biodiversity within our vineyards are very important to us.
Making the very most of our centuries-old buildings through the creation of an ambitious wine tourism project, while harnessing wine production technology to support and enhance our vines and our wines.
We are proud of our team - all wine sector professionals, but first and foremost passionate about wine and about the history of our estates. Each and every team member works to support our projects and enhance our terroirs to create high-quality, beautiful crus.
